Foucaultbear started in 2002 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
An accidental entrepreneur... what started off as a hobby...
I’m mom to a musical, sporty middle-schooler. My husband and I met at Harvard. We’re into our third decade together. Our teen has him completely figured out since young. He simply cannot say no to her (and would not!) and that's where I come in, to be the disciplinarian and adult in our household.
I started making bows for my daughter to match her outfits and just fell in love with creating them. Making bows provided and still, to this day, provides me with a modicum of sanity & purpose especially when I was suffering from PPD after the birth of my little one (and yes, she'll forever be my little one). I started selling them with encouragement from a friend who believed in me.

I hand-make all my bows with care. Some centerpieces on my creations are handmade from polymer clay in the USA by very talented clay artisans with whom I've worked with for years. Occasionally, I make some polymer clay centers myself. I also use authentic M2MG accessories.
I offer an array of different hair bows for children, adults, and sometimes pets,
and also custom pieces made to your specifications.
I also make beaded bracelets and necklaces, with polymer clay centers for children. Some of my bracelets and necklaces are M2MG/M2M or made to match the hair bows I created. I use a mix of Swarovski, Czech or Austrian crystal beads, millefiori beads, glass beads and acrylic beads, with sterling silver, surgical steel or stainless steel components.
Custom orders will take a minimum of 7 working days to complete, depending on my workload. Please contact me if you have something in mind.

With my handcrafted jewelry line, I offer bracelets to adults, teenagers and children. Most of my jewelry are made using 14kt gold-filled, stainless steel and sterling silver.
For Adults, I offer hair barrettes made using genuine Swarovski crystals. They looks great on children (albeit smaller in size) and teenagers too.
For Party Favors, personalizing them with custom pieces such as clippies/bows/bracelets for kids and bracelets/earrings/Swarovski barrettes for teenagers or adults would be more meaningful than mall purchased ones (not that I have anything against that).
For Bridal Parties, gift your bridesmaids fine jewelry like Genuine 14k Gold-filled/Sterling Silver Freshwater Pearl/Semi or Precious Stone bracelets/earrings. A lasting gift, a lasting memory.
For Baby Showers, I offer crafted ribbon/felt clippies, bespoke message/photo/pin boards and clay figurine photo frames. Definitely not the usual cliché shower gifts.
Message/photo/pin boards are teenage staples.
Polymer clay figurine photo frames are childhood "must-have" in my opinion :)
With the current COVID situation and the usefulness of masks wearing, please do ask me about my line of masks-chains that can be doubled as chains for glasses.

What I offer here is essentially a one-stop shopping for gifts for loved ones, friends or self. From babies to adults, shop ready-to-ship, bespoke or custom made and everything in between.
We relocated from the USA to Singapore and I stopped creating and did minimal selling despite having a flourishing online business as my priority was to my family.
Everything comes from a non-smoking, no pets home.
I used to sell extensively on another 2 sites but could no longer do so due to time constraints.
